BIOGRAPHY

Born in Sassari (Italy), Davide Mura completed his music education in 2005 under the guidance of maestro Claudio Ottino and obtained the diploma with top marks at the Conservatory “A.Vivaldi” in Alessandria (Italy).

He perfectioned his talent through several masterclass held by soprano Giovanna Casolla, soprano Gabriella Ravazzi, soprano Donata d’Annunzio Lombardi, bariton Rolando Panerai, basses Roberto Scandiuzzi and Luigi Roni.

In 2006 debuts in Orvieto at Teatro Mancinelli with the role of Don Bartolo in Mozart’s LE NOZZE DI FIGARO after winning the 15th international opera singers contest Spazio Musica.

In the following years he demonstrated his versatile skills with the interpretation of several roles such as Alidoro and Don Magnifico in Rossini’s La Cenerentola, Fiorello and Don Basilio  in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Così Fan Tutte, Commendatore and Masetto in Don Giovanni, Conte Rodolfo in Bellini’s La Sonnambula, Ferrando in Verdi’s Il Trovatore, Banco in Macbeth, Dottore and Marchese in La traviata,  Sparafucile, Monterone and Conte di Ceprano in Rigoletto,  Colline, Benoit and Alcindoro in Puccini’s La Bohème,  Simone and Notaio in Gianni Schicchi, Talpa in Il Tabarro, Angelotti in Tosca,  Zio Bonzo in Madama Butterfly, Imperatore Altoum in Busoni’s Turandot.

In recent years he worked with several relevant world renown names such as the conductors Fabio Luisi, Andre Battistoni, Fabio Mastrangelo, Alberto Veronesi, Maurizio Arena, Giampaolo Bisanti, Marco Guidarini, Francesco Ivan Ciampa, Beatrice Venezi and the directors Beppe de Tomasi, Filippo Crivelli, Jean Louis Grinda, Augusto Fornari, Stefano Vizioli, Rosetta Cucchi, Rolando Panerai, Davide Livermore,   Renzo Giacchieri, Enrico Stinchelli, Enrico Vanzina, Marco Scola di Mambro, Alessandro Golinelli and the singers Rolando Panerai, Carlo Guelfi, Juan Pons, Alberto Mastromarino,  Bruno de Simone, Andrea Bocelli, Daniela Dessì,  Amarilli Nizza, Donata d’Annunzio Lombardi, Sonia Ganassi, Dimitra Theodossiou, Fiorenza Cedolins, Angela Gheorghiu, Maria Guleghina, Roberto Aronica, Fabio Armiliato, Rudy Park, Francesco Meli, Jean Philippe La Fonte, Carlos Alvarez, Alfonso Antoniozzi.

 More recently his name appeared in the cast of teatro Carlo Felice (Genova – Italy), in the productions Carmen, Boheme, Barbiere di Siviglia, Gianni Schicchi, Romeo et Juliette, Fedora, Billy Budd and Tosca. He finally was chosen for Trittico and Madama Butterfy in the 61st Puccini Festival (Torre del Lago – Italy) and in the 2015 Opera Festivals of Taormina and Pompei in the productions Nabucco, Tosca and La Traviata. Still in 2015 he won the first edition of the “Accademia Puccini” award in the category Base, granted by the trust Amici del Festival Pucciniano. In 2016 he debuts in the theatre Ruben Darìo in Managua (Nicaragua) with the roles of Timur in Puccini’s Turandot and Colline in La Bohème during the Nicaragua Puccini Festival. In the 62nd Puccini Festival (Torre del Lago – Italy) he sung the roles of Colline (La Bohème), Timur (Turandot), Angelotti (Tosca) and Altoum (Turandot by F. Busoni).
